JOB SUMMARY:  The Intern for the Operational Resilience program, which includes Business Continuity Management and Third-Party Risk Management, will provide support on various projects. This role is for a highly motivated, hands-on contributor who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get things done!  This role will cover multiple key areas for the bank and will offer valuable learning opportunities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist with planning and documentation and participate in operational resilience scenario testing
  • Assist with the development of incident management response playbooks for critical technologies
  • Provide administrative support as needed by the Operational Resilience team
  • Participate in team and committee meetings, assisting with minutes
  • Communicate effectively and interact with Operational Resilience program managers and stakeholders across the bank
  • Assist in preparing information and research materials; create and maintain PowerPoint presentations
  • Ability to analyze operational resilience data and communicate findings
  • Complete additional projects on an ad hoc basis to support the team
  • Assist in reconciliations and data quality improvement for Third Party portfolio
  • Assist with Third Party Contract initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Currently pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Interest in risk management, emergency management, disaster recovery
  • Highly motivated, professional, and able to thrive in a small team environment
  • Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
  • High proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office products
  • Acute attention to detail with the ability to think critically and independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Well-developed organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Interest or experience with banking or financial institutions strongly preferred
